Supporting tenants at our first mutual exchange event

NPH colleagues were on hand yesterday at the Grosvenor Centre to support tenants attending a mutual exchange event. We were able to provide advice, answer questions and help residents explore opportunities to find a home that better meets their needs.

The event attracted tenants interested in mutual exchange, giving them the chance to learn more about the process and receive guidance from the mutual exchange team.

Staff spoke with several people, offering practical support and helping to break down barriers that can sometimes make moving home feel daunting. NPH Tenancy Solutions Manager, Fuad, was one of the staff members who organised the event. He said:

We’re delighted with the success of yesterday’s Mutual Exchange Event. It was great to meet residents, answer questions and support people with their mutual exchange applications. Events like these play an important role in helping residents find the right home for them. Following the success of this event, we look forward to hosting another Mutual Exchange Event early next year. We encourage all social housing tenants to attend, whether they are NPH residents or tenants of a housing association, to explore the opportunities available and receive expert support.

By bringing people together in one place, the event helped tenants understand their options, make informed decisions and access support throughout the mutual exchange process. They have now taken positive steps towards finding a home that works better for them and their families.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise and support the event and to the visitors who took the time to explore their housing options with us. We look forward to seeing you in the new year for our next mutual exchange event – keep an eye on our events page where it will be announced later this year.
